Green Tomato Pickles
1 gal. green tomatoes
6 large onions, sliced fine
Cook above until tender in
1 qt. pure cider vinegar
1 pt. sugar, 1 tablespoon salt
Then add
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
Seal while hot.
