CHILI BEEF STEW

2 lb. beef stew meat oregano (cut in 1 inch pieces)
Thyme
1 large green pepper (cut in 1 inch pieces)
Black pepper
Garlic powder
1 medium onion (sliced)
Seasoning salt
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole (greased, even the cover)
6 oz. water
Put meat, pepper and onion in casserole. In a separate bowl mix chili sauce, water, and spices. Pour mixture into casserole. Cover casserole and cook in 350 degree oven for 2 hours.
