a thought-provoking story submitted by rishikabhutani on February 1, 2022, 5:47pm I saw this book all over the internet so I finally caved and requested it, and I'm so glad I did. First off, it was a really easy book to read. I finished in just two days. I also found the story super compelling. I recommend that you read the author's note afterwards. I have a lot of respect for Colleen Hoover for choosing to write a story like this. As heartbreaking as parts of this book are, this is a harsh reality of the world we live in. I won't spoil anything, but the final chapter of the book was so powerful I read it twice. This is a book I think we should all read and learn from!

A good read submitted by elenalibro on July 14, 2023, 8:50pm I read the book together with my teen daughter and enjoyed our many discussions about different topics related to the story and the way it was written. I suspect that I would have enjoyed the book a bit less if I had read it by myself since the story is a bit predictable. Overall this is a book that I would recommend.

Beautifully written submitted by ehautman on July 18, 2023, 8:07pm It is a beautifully written novel with a romance story but also has some "gritty" parts. I finished it quickly and enjoyed reading it. Trigger warning: it involves domestic violence.
